This should be a site that is useful for finding out what is happening in room 410. Look at what we are studying and find links to some great websites.
Whitney Elementary uses a Walk To Read model for teaching reading. Two curriculums are used: Houghton Mifflin and Readwell. I teach Houghton Mifflin Curriculum during the reading block to the students who come to my classroom for reading.
The first grade Houghton Mifflin Curriculum includes 10 Themes through the year. I would eventually like to have resources available to help parents work with their student on the website for each theme.
