Unit Abstract:This project, which is the first unit/term of the computer literacy course, concerns developing the first section of a digital student portfolio containing the following:
Autobiographical Section: the student develops a section of his/her portfolio dedicated to a current personal history in which the student creates a multimedia presentation entitled All About Me (or replace Me with the student's name, e.g. All About Cliff). The student learns various multimedia skills in preparing and presenting his/her current autobiography to the class in a culminating presentation. The overall objective is to start the student on a pathway to creating and maintaining a personal and professional digital portfolio, while developing computer skills and experience in applied computer and informational technology applications.Go to Project 1: "All About Me" Activity Calendar.
